Dear Wiltshire Constabulary,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Wiltshire Constabulary's handling of my FOI request 'Major incident plan'.

There is a statutory deadline in the freedom of information act to reply promptly within 20 working days. It has surpassed this deadline. Unless there is a public interest test being applied, the public authority has a duty to confirm or deny they have the information and publish it.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/m...

Yours faithfully,

Saifur Rahman

Dear Tilbury, Lloyd,

It's surpassed the 40 working days deadline. Under all circumstances, by the freedom of information act, Wiltshire Police should have responded. Please respond promptly or unfortunately a complaint with the ICO will have to be made.

Yours sincerely,
Saifur Rahman

Dear Tilbury, Lloyd,

It has been almost 60 working days without a response. Please can you confirm that this freedom of information request is still being worked upon? Please provide the reason for the delay.

Thank you.

Yours sincerely,

Saifur Rahman

Dear Force Disclosure Unit,

I have yet to receive a response for the freedom of information request FOI 2018-563 - major incident plan. I'm aware that there is a backlog however 80+ working days without a response is concerning, there is a statutory obligation to reply to a freedom of information request within 20 working days or approximately 40 working days for public interest tests (ICO recommendation) being applied. This is well over the limit. Please respond promptly.

Yours sincerely,

Saifur Rahman

Dear Force Disclosure Unit,

A complaint to the ICO has been made due to the length it has taken without a response to the FOI request. I'll be awaiting their decision notice.
