Dear information.rights,
Thank you for a swift reply to my question although it leaves me very puzzled. Why do POL encourage Mails segregation,( and have an entire department in the NFSP constantly explaining and promoting mails Seg,) if they receive no financial benefit for doing it? How does POL find the money to pay SPM's for mails seg? .Is it a carrot/stick relationship whereby RM agree a figure per year for Mails acceptance and that figure may be reduced if Mails Seg targets within that agreement are not met? Is that the case? If so what size have the financial penalties been since the targets were first introduced? . Would the Inter Business Agreement (MDA1) which was signed in 2012 help clear up the mystery?

Yours sincerely,

john o'sullivan

Dear Information Rights Team,
Thank you once more for replying,I am struggling to find the correct wordings for my questions but at least you appear to have some idea of what I am trying to find out.I will ask the five questions again but hopefully in a way that you may be able to answer.1)Have RM reduced payment for Mails Acceptance to POL or demanded money back if Mails Seg Targets were not met?2)How is the money used to pay SPM for Mails Seg accounted for?3)A.Do RM and POL agree a figure for Mails Acceptance over a given period?B.Can this figure be reduced and has this ever happened?4)Hopefully your fulsome answer to 3 will cover this point5)Can we see the Inter Business Agreement (MDA1)2012 please?

Yours sincerely,
