Dear Royal Mail Group Limited,

This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

Could you please provide me with the following information:
- The delivery rates of First Class stamped and franked (meter) mail arrived the next day for the postcode IG1 to IG10 quarterly in the last five years. Please include this information in a table.
- The delivery rates of Second Class stamped and franked mail arrived in the next three working days for the postcode IG1 to IG10 quarterly in the last five years. Please include this information in a table.
- The delivery rates of First Class stamped and franked (meter) mail arrived the next day for the postcode IG1 to IG10 per week in the last three month. Please include this information in a table.
- The delivery rates of Second Class stamped and franked mail arrived in the next three working days for the postcode IG1 to IG10 per week in the last three months. Please include this information in a table.
- The annual target for First Class stamped and franked (meter) mail arrived the next day in the past five years for the postcode IG1 to IG10.
- The annual target for Second Class stamped and franked mail arrived in the next three working days in the past five years for the postcode IG1 to IG10.

Dear Ms Farand,

 

I am writing in response to your email dated 24 September 2015 in which
you request information under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act
2000.

 

Following the flotation of Royal Mail on the London Stock Exchange in
October 2013, it is no longer subject to the Freedom of Information Act.
Royal Mail was previously subject to the Act because it was wholly owned
by the government. However, now that the government has sold some of its
shares in Royal Mail, this is no longer the case. Therefore, we are no
longer obliged to respond to requests for information under the terms of
the Act.

 

Royal Mail does publish quality of service information broken down by
postcode area on its website [1]www.royalmailgroup.com which might be of
use to you.  Quality of Service reports are published on a quarterly basis
dating back to 2007/08 and are available via the following link:
