Magistrates/Justices of the Peace - Trustees of Lauriston Castle Trust

Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service did not have the information requested.

Dear Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service,

In 1930 the Magistrates of the City of Edinburgh along with others were appointed in perpetuity Trustees of the Lauriston Castle Trust.

In May 1975 those same magistrates became Justices of the Peace.

The City of Edinburgh Council state that the Justices of Peace are not Trustees of the Lauriston Castle Trust.

Please clarify, are the Justices of the Peace still Trustees of Lauriston Castle Trust?

Please provide all communications in relation to the Magistrates/Justices of the Peace in connection with the Lauriston Castle Trust.

Yours faithfully,

David Baker
