M6 Heysham Link rd and park & ride
Dear Lancashire County Council,
Please may i request a complete list of subcontractors, suppliers and consultants that have or will be involved with the New highway (Completion of Heysham to M6 link) and improvements to existing. The route is a 4.8km two lane carriageway all-purpose road with intermediate junctions and a combined footway/cycleway along its length. The scheme will also include alterations to the local road network and some existing junctions. The proposed route connects the existing A683 Heysham to M6 link at its junction with A589 Morecambe Road near Torrisholme. Route is in a general eastern direction to connect M6 Junction 34. The scheme will also involve construction of a park and ride facility with 519 car parking spaces including 52 disabled spaces. Other works will include associated lighting, CCTV, columns, 3 bus shelters, fencing and landscaping, alterations to the proposed Croskells junction and creation of a new access.
