Dear Highways England Company Limited,

Could you please provide me with supporting evidence / cctv camera pictures of the speed limit at J13 to J15 on the M25 clockwise, on the 14th February 2018 between midnight and 1am

I believed the speed limit on this part of the M25 to be 70mph.

Please confirm if the speed limit was changed temporarily, at what time and for what reason.

Yours faithfully,
Ravinder Kapur

Dear Mr Kapur

Date & Time: 14 February 2019 00:00hrs - 01:00hrs

Location: J13/15,M25 clockwise

Thank you for your email on the 16 February 2019 regarding information for
the above incident. Your enquiry has been passed to me to investigate.

Please see below table, this shows what was set on the date and time you
advised us of. There were no speed restrictions in place so the 70mph
limit would have been in effect.

I have also searched our internal database for any incidents or roadworks
that were in the area at the time. I was unable to locate any jobs.

Regarding CCTV and pictures I will be unable to send these as this data is
not available, after 7 days footage is cleared. Also the cameras monitor
the traffic flows and not the gantry’s.

Thank you again for contacting us. I am truly sorry we have not been able
to provide you with the footage you require. If there is anything else we
can help you with please email or telephone our customer contact centre.

Kind regards

Michael English
