LU Service Controller(L2) Pass Rates
Dear Transport for London,
Since the 1st January 2017, I would like to know the number of trainees who have undertaken live service controller(L2) desk training at the service control centers for each individual line(ie. after completing all necessary assessments at Ashfield House)
Of that number, I would like to know how many successfully passed training and undertook the role of Service Controller(L2) for each individual line
Yours faithfully,
Ryan Wilson

Dear Mr Wilson
TfL Ref: FOI-1344-2223
Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 2
September 2022, asking about LU Service Controller level 2 (SCL2) pass
rates.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of
the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can
confirm that we hold the information you require.
Since the 1st January 2017, I would like to know the number of trainees
who have undertaken live service controller(L2) desk training at the
service control centres for each individual line (i.e. after completing
all necessary assessments at Ashfield House).
Of that number, I would like to know how many successfully passed training
and undertook the role of Service Controller(L2) for each individual line.
Please see the information in the table below. However, as some of the
rates contain a small figure (less than ten), disclosure of the
information you have requested could potentially identify specific
individuals within that area. We therefore consider that these figures are
exempt from disclosure under section 40(2) of the FOI Act as disclosure of
these exact figures would be a breach of the first data protection
principle. This information constitutes personal data as defined in
section 2 of the Data Protection Act 1998 (DPA) and was provided in
confidence for monitoring purposes. These individuals would have a
reasonable expectation that the information would not be disclosed in a
manner that would identify any particular person and it would be unfair to
them to do so.
Therefore, what we have done is replace the cells containing the values of
less than ten, with ‘>10’, as we consider that it would not be fair to
provide this data.
