Dear London School of Economics,
Under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I kindly
request some data from you regarding your Undergraduate Government & Economics and Economics & Philosophy applications.
1) The mean number of A*s at GCSE for students made offers to
study Government & Economics and/or Economics & Philosophy at LSE for the 2014 cycle (and any other cycles if possible)
2) The mean number of A*s at A-Level for students made offers to
study Government & Economics and/or Economics & Philosophy at LSE for the 2014 cycle (and any other cycles if possible)
3) The amount of offers given relative to the amount of applicants
for Government & Economics and/or Economics & Philosophy at LSE for the 2014(and any other cycles if possible)
If possible could I get a reply before 30th September, I realise
this is short notice, so I would understand if I got a reply where
not all of my data requests were made (Number 1 and 3 are the ones
I'm most interested in and I would be happy with data from either course).

Combined = 7 (7.86)
2. Mean number of A* at A level for BSc Government & Economics= 2 (2.09)
Mean number of A* at A level for BSc Philosophy & Economics = 2 (2.07)
Combined = 2 (2.08)
3. Total applicants to BSc Government & Economics = 514
Total offers made = 120
Total applicants to BSc Philosophy & Economics = 328
Total offer made = 72
