Thank you for your information request dated 17 March 2022 regarding Lower
Thames Crossing. We have dealt with your request under the provisions of
the Environmental Information Regulation 2004.
This is because the information requested concerns measures and activities
affecting or likely to affect elements of the environment or affect
factors such as noise, pollution discharges and other releases into the
environment.
You asked - 1. Our latest calculations for the construction emissions from
this scheme 2. Previous calculations of the construction emissions from
this scheme.
I can confirm that we hold the information you have requested.
I have included the breakdown of construction emissions by material during
the construction of the Lower Thames Crossing. As you will be aware we are
developing a revised Development Consent Order application which we intend
to submit later this year, and the construction carbon estimate will be
updated for this application based on the revised design and construction
plans.
