Low traffice neighbourhood correspondence

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Sutton Borough Council should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Sutton Borough Council,

Please can I request copies of any correspondence with the ambulance, fire or police services since March 2020 regarding 'low traffic neighbourhoods' (LTN) schemes?

Please also provide copies of impact assessments carried out and any analysis conducted on LTNs possible effects on emergency service response times.

Update:

unprecedented challenges during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Whilst we take our statutory duties very seriously we ask for your
understanding that we may not be able to respond to your request within

I am writing further to your letter/email dated [insert date], requesting
the following information:-

* Please can I request copies of any correspondence with the ambulance,
fire or police services since March 2020 regarding 'low traffic
neighbourhoods' (LTN) schemes?

Your request is being handled as a request for information under the
Freedom of Information Act 2000. 

Although we were required by the Act to provide you with the information
within 20 working days, I regret that we were unable to send you a full
response to your request within this timescale.  This is because the
Council is facing unprecedented challenges during the coronavirus
(COVID-19) pandemic. Whilst we take our statutory duties very seriously we
ask for your understanding that we may not be always able to respond to
your request within the statutory timescale  .  

First, I would like to apologise on behalf of the Council for this delay,
and if you still require the information, I can assure you that we will
process your request and we will send you a full reply as soon as we can. 

Therefore, could please confirm this by contacting us within 7 days of the
date shown on this letter/email. If we do not hear from you within the
time stated your request will be close.
