1. For the last two financial years (21/22) and (22/23) how many fines have been issued to drivers for a breach of regulations in relation to the operation and function of Low Traffic Neighbourhoods (LTN)? What has been the income to the council of these fines in each of these two years?

2. Please list the three Low Traffic Neighbourhood schemes in your area that have resulted in the greatest number of fines sent to motorists for breaching the regulations/operation of the scheme in the 22/23 financial year. For each of the three schemes please provide the name/street name of the scheme and the number of people who have been caught breaching its rules.

3. In total how many LTNs operate in your council area?

Thank you for your request dated 13 June 2023.

Our response is as follows:

1. For the last two financial years (21/22) and (22/23) how many fines
have been issued to drivers for a breach of regulations in relation to the
operation and function of Low Traffic Neighbourhoods (LTN)? What has been
the income to the council of these fines in each of these two years?

We have had only 1 LTN capable of issuing PCNs which was implemented and
removed in the same year 2021-2022. While live 10,406 PCNs were issued

 

Total £596,502.38: For financial year 2021/2022 when the LTN was
implemented.

 

2. Please list the three Low Traffic Neighbourhood schemes in your area
that have resulted in the greatest number of fines sent to motorists for
breaching the regulations/operation of the scheme in the 22/23 financial
year. For each of the three schemes please provide the name/street name of
the scheme and the number of people who have been caught breaching its
rules.

N/A – no LTN’s with camera enforcement were in place in 22/23

 

3. In total how many LTNs operate in your council area?

            One
