Dear Finance FOI,
Thanks for the reply, can you clear a few things up please?

1.In your reply to question 3, I asked how much had been made from money invested in the Money/stock markets, you said 4.70% per annum. Can you tell me what the financial figure is? Not the percentage figure.

2. In question 4 I asked for all the companies this money is invested? Can you clarify, is money being collected by the Pension fund going towards investment in all those companies (or most of them) on the list "Lothian Pension Fund Equities Valuation"?

3. And on question 6 I asked " Does any of the investment profits go back towards local services like Road repair etc"? Can you clarify your answer? You said it is a legal requirement that all profit is retained by Lothian Pension fund, Can you tell me, under which Statute Law Lothian Pension Fund gets this power? Also, I take it that no profits go towards roads, Houses, Scottish Government etc?

If the profits remain in the Lothian pension fund then it must be bursting at the seems if it doesn't go anywhere, does it go anywhere eventually?

Yours sincerely,

brian ovens

Does any of the profits go towards roads, house's Scottish Government etc? And also you said it's a legal requirement that the money stays in the fund, there is tones of stuff to go through to find the answer to your claim of "legal requiredment", can't you point me to this piece of legislation?

Yours sincerely,
