Dear Northamptonshire County Council,

Under the Freedom of Information Act can I please have the
following information.
1.Total Number of children placed in residential care?

2.Number of children placed in residential care from 2011-2012 and
from 2012 to date?

3.Can I have the above broken down by:
•Age
•Gender
Religion, I am specifically trying to find the number of Muslim
Children in residential care
•Type of residential setting i.e. learning disability, Emotional &
behavioural difficulties or others
•Nature of placement contract i.e. Full time, respite, shared care
or others

4.Number of private and LA run homes currently being placed with?

5.Type of procurement method currently used? spot purchase,
framework, etc

6.If a Framework or Approved provider list is used is it currently
open and if not when will it open to tender again?

7.Average weekly cost of child in local authority operated home

8.Average weekly cost of child placed in a private setting
