Could you state the number of staff members who were recorded to have had 
Long Covid while working for your trust at any time in the period between 
October 2021 - October 2022?

Following a search of our paper and electronic records we have established that 
the information you requested is not held by the Trust.  
(The national staff records system does not have ‘Long Covid’ as an absence 
reason. Therefore we are unable to record long covid as a specific absence 
reason.)

Could you state all leave of absences taken where Long Covid was cited as 
the cause between October 2021 - October 2022 and the length of time each 
absence lasted for.

Does your trust offer any specialised support for staff members living with 
Long Covid? If so could you please provide details of these services?

The Trust does not have any specific specialised support services for staff with 
Long Covid. 
 
Staff Member can be referred to our Occupational Health Department for health 
and work advice. Occupational Health can identify staff who may benefit from a 
referral to a Long Covid Clinic and liaised with their GP to arrange the referral.  
 
In addition the Trust will work with staff and managers around workplace 
adjustments and wellbeing support. The Trust has a Staff Wellbeing programme 
which covers a number of themes/topics which may be utilised and beneficial to 
staff with Long Covid, but there are not any specific Long Covid Wellbeing 
programmes.
