London vehicle fleet and refuelling information

We're waiting for Nick Green to read recent responses and update the status.

Dear Highways England Company Limited,

Please may you provide me the list of all Highways England vehicles in London, as of 28th March 2018.

Can this please include:

- Vehicle make and model
- Fleet number
- Fuel usage/capacity
- Depot/Station

Please can you also provide information about the current means of refuelling these vehicles? ie. Vehicles are driven to the petrol station, fuel is stored at the depot/station etc.

Please provide the details of the individual responsible for organising and managing the fuel needs of the Highways England fleet.

Please also provide information about total annual cost of refuelling these vehicles and what this equates to per vehicle and per litre of fuel bought.

Yours faithfully,

Dear Nick

I am writing regarding your request for information received on 28^th
March 2018.  In that request, you asked us for information on all Highways
England vehicles in London as of March 2018.

I will be unable to proceed with your request without clarification of the
information you wish to receive. To help us do so, I would like to know
what roads on which  you are seeking information.

Are you seeking information  on roads in the City of London, Central
London or Greater London?

I am asking for clarity as Highways England does not operate in  either
Central London  and the City of London areas.

Please note that if I do not receive appropriate clarification of your
information requirements within three months from the date of this letter,
then I will consider your request closed.

If you wish to discuss any of the above, please contact me. Please
remember to quote reference number [CCC   18694405] in any future
communications.

Yours sincerely

Dear Johnson, Susan,

Please could you give me the above information for Central London. Thank you.

Yours sincerely,

Nick Green

Johnson, Susan,

Dear Nick

Highways England are not the highway authority for roads in Central London and therefore do not have access to the information you have requested.

You could contact Transport for London via https://tfl.gov.uk/help-and-contact/cont... who may be able to provide the information.

This FOI is therefore closed for Highways England.

Regards

Susan Johnson
