London Fire Commissioner (London Fire Brigade)

Dear Danielle,

Thank you for your request, dated 16 January 2019 regarding tower blocks (over 18m) in Greater London.

In response I can confirm the London Fire Brigade (LFB) do not hold a list of all tower blocks within the Greater London area. We are only aware of the buildings we have inspected (and this record will not accurately hold the height of the building and may or may not identify the legal ownership). I would advise you redirect your request towards the Greater London Authority (GLA) who we understand may have compiled a register of buildings within the Greater London area.

I'm sorry I could not be of more help on this occasion. Should you have further questions do let me.

This request has been dealt with under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. If you are dissatisfied by this response you can request an internal review by writing to the Head of Information Management at the address below (or email [email address]).

Further information about your information rights (including how to raise a concern or make a compliant) is available from the Information Commissioner’s Office on their website at www.ico.org.uk or by writing to them at Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF.

Kind Regards,

James Sivell
