London PCN Revenue

The request was partially successful.

Dear London Councils,

Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I would like to request some information regarding the issue of parking fines in the city, specifically penalty charge notices (PCNs). I would like to request raw data showing the number of PCNs issued as well as the revenue generated from these charges for the most recent year available. I would also like this data broken down by borough, as well as for London as a whole.

Yours faithfully,

Russ Hunter

FOI-DPA Complaints Shared Mailbox, London Councils

Dear Mr Hunter,

Thank you for your recent request for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. London Councils holds some of the information you require. We collate figures from boroughs for the number of PCNs issued but not the revenue generated. The most recent information we hold (for 2017/18) is available on our website here:

https://www.londoncouncils.gov.uk/servic...

London boroughs will hold their own parking reports which will include income and expenditure information. London Councils does not hold this information. You can contact individual local authorities to obtain the information you require through the London Government Directory: http://www.directory.londoncouncils.gov.uk

If you wish to make a complaint about the way we have handled your enquiry, please write to [email address] If you are not happy with the outcome of your complaint, you can write to the Information Commissioner: ico.org.uk
