Log of exports of government petitions data - administrator information

The request was successful.

Dear Cabinet Office,

In recent FOI request responses you have stated that the government's online petition system includes a database that holds records of petition signatories (name, email, postcode etc) and that the administrator accounts that are authorised for 'command line' access to this database do have the power to export these records. You have also stated that this export activity is monitored and recorded.

Please would you now provide a list of which departments (e.g. Cabinet Office, House of Commons Library etc) and agencies (external contractors, firms etc) administer the servers that conduct this monitoring process and hold these export records and whether the department or agency in each case has the ability to edit or replace or otherwise modify these export records?

If you believe that it would harm private business interests or perhaps risk security to name an external (private) contractor that has this sort of access then please do release the fact that an external provider has this access even if you choose to exempt the release of their name or other identifiable information.

Yours faithfully,

Robert Davidson
