Locations of Defibrillators
Dear West Midlands Ambulance Service University NHS Foundation Trust,
I would be grateful if you could supply me with details of the locations of publicly accessible automated external defibrillators (AEDs). For each unit, I would particularly like to know a location description / address, postcode, location coordinates (if known), reference number, and owner/operator.
I do NOT wish to know any access codes required to open the cabinets. I have a strong preference for receiving this information in a re-usable electronic format, e.g. a CSV file (preferred) or an Excel spreadsheet.

The Freedom of Information Act provides public access to Information held by public bodies; our publication and our Trust website have therefore been designed to make available data including your request for defib locations.
By using the following link (https://wmas.nhs.uk/about-wmas/organisat...) you will be redirected to our disclosure log where West Midlands Ambulance Service publishes the answers to previous Freedom of Information requests we have received.
There is a FOI Index which you will need to open and search within the document by inputting key words such as ‘defibrillators’ or other search terms of the information you require and it will show you details of similar requests. On the left hand side of this, there will be the reference number you will require to refer to, to obtain a copy of the disclosure log.
We also have a further page on our website called “Frequently Asked FOI” where we actively publish and update information that is popularly requested from us. This page will continue to grow with a wealth of information and is currently available here;

Please note, we have revisited your request and can confirm we have provided the list of CPADs we are aware of to answer your request. These are the defibrillators that the public have access to which is what your request detailed by yourself.
