Dear Birmingham City Council,

I am looking to obtain details on the location of council owned housing estates in the area of Birmingham. Ideally i would prefer a map that shows clearly the defined area of each estate which would probably be something held by a GIS team on ArcView or MapInfo type products. I cannot seem to find anything online.
I would be very grateful if you could supply a map of this information naming the estates.

I am requesting this information to aid with social and geographical research on deprivation and the incidence of crime in social/high density housing areas.

Yours faithfully,

Dear Birmingham City Council,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Birmingham City Council's handling of my FOI request 'Location of Housing Estates'.

I made a simple request regarding a map of the location of all the housing estates in Birmingham. I expected to receive this by 13 August 2018.
Now I am told it will delayed even further by another 20 working days. I find this unacceptable.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/l...

Yours faithfully,

CIM, Birmingham City Council

Dear Mr [Name removed]

I am writing further to your email below. The service area have confirmed they have written to you as they need to extend the deadline as they are considering applying an exemption and therefore under The Freedom of Information Act a local authority can extend the request to a further 20 working days to consider a public interest test.

They will respond to you within those timescales.

Yours sincerely
Corporate Information Governance Team

Dear CIM,

Well I suspect you will delay the second request I have made below by another 20 working days too while you wait for another application for an exemption.

https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/c...

Because I suspect you will do this I want you to deal with the above request at the same time.

The above request contains the following info:

"Dear Birmingham City Council,
-I have already made a request here for a map of all the locations of the council estates in Birmingham:
-I would now like to make another request for the name of every single CCTV security agency which holds a contract to operate the CCTV cameras which monitor the Council estates in the above request.
Yours faithfully,
[Name removed] YY"

Please combine that request with the first request about council estates so both can be dealt with simultaneously and I can avoid another pointless 20 working day wait while you do a public interest test.3

Yours sincerely,

[Name removed] YY
