Location of Commercial Wind Turbines

Steve Hey made this Freedom of Information request to Scarborough Borough Council

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

The request was successful.

Dear Scarborough Borough Council,

It has been brought to our attention that Scarborough Borough Council has been in the process or has in fact produced maps or documentation detailing where Commercial Renewable Energy Developments would be suitable in the Borough. We are particularly concerned with the placing of Commercial Wind Turbines throughout this area.

Therefore under the Freedom of information Act 2000 we request copies of any maps or documentation, Draft or Final, showing where Scarborough Borough Council is recommending that Commercial Wind Turbines are installed, to meet its current targets.

We would also like to request to see any communication that has been supplied to Banks Renewables regarding pre discussion talks on the location of Wind Turbines in the Borough.

Yours faithfully,

Steve Hey
