Dear Everton,

Freedom of Information Act 2000 - Request for Information

I am writing in respect of your recent enquiry for information held by the
Authority under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act.

In order to assist you in getting the information you require, could you
please clarify the term ‘assisted living homes’ as referred to in your
request.

Does it mean:

o Residential Care Home
o 24 hour supported living (small group living together with 24 hour
support)
o 24 hour support into an individual's own home (living alone)
o Individuals living individually but in a block of apartments, where
there is support available within the block either 24 hours a day, or
during the day (but not overnight)
o Support going for a period of time each day into somebody's own home
(an individual or living with their family)

Or a combination of some/all of the above?

Your attention to this matter is appreciated.

Yours sincerely

Dear Everton,

Further to my email of the 18^th July 2017, an officer who is dealing with
your request has also asked that I seek clarification regarding your
request.

Could you please clarify the term ‘homeless’, there are many definitions
of homeless including those owed a full duty under the homeless
legislation and if so at what date is the information required? i.e. this
information has to be a snapshot at a particular point in time.

If you can please provide this information so that we may assist you with
your request.

Yours sincerely

Dear freedom of information,

In response to your emails, if you could cover the following in respect to the elderly and adults with learning disabilities;

o Residential Care Home
o 24 hour supported living (small group living together with 24 hour
support)
o Individuals living individually but in a block of apartments, where
there is support available within the block either 24 hours a day, or
during the day (but not overnight)

We would require the most up to date statistics of homelessness in your area that fits your criteria for those to be temporary rehoused for example:
- having no accommodation at all
- having accommodation that is not reasonable to live in, even in the short-term (eg because of violence or health reasons)

Yours sincerely,

Everton Wynter
