I am writing to request an internal review of St Helens Metropolitan Borough Council's handling of my FOI request 'Local Plan Associated Costs External Legal Advice'.

Doubtless as you have not yet supplied any information an internal review cannot be carried out. I am therefore additionally requesting an internal review as to why information is taking so long to be provided. It is a legal obligation to provide information within a set time frame and this has been exceeded. Could you please look into this matter and advise when the information will be forthcoming.

Further to your request, the cost of external legal advice for the local
plan examination totalled £46,560.

 

May I apologse for the delay in responding, it is simply a matter of
increased workload and dealing with a signfiicant number of FOI requests
at the present time.

If you disagree with our decision or are otherwise unhappy with how we
