Local Government Transparency Code information

Peter Hayman made this Freedom of Information request to Liverpool City Council

This request has been closed to new correspondence. Contact us if you think it should be reopened.

The request was successful.

Dear Liverpool City Council,

The Local Government Transparency Code 2015 requires local authorities to publish certain information annually, including details of the land and property it owns. The only information on the LCC website for council owned property is dated January 2015 and there would not appear to be the mandatory updates for subsequent years, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 or 2020.

Please now provide the January 2020 list of all land and buildings owned by Liverpool City Council including all the details as set out in point 37 of the Transparency Code.

Yours faithfully,

Peter Hayman

Dear Liverpool City Council,

Please acknowledge receipt of the request I submitted on 19 June 2020 and provide the appropriate FOI reference number.

Yours faithfully,

Peter Hayman

Dear Liverpool City Council,

Please note that as you have totally ignored my request and failed to provide even an acknowledgement, I am now refering the matter to the Informayion Commissioner.

Yours faithfully,

Peter Hayman

Interesting that the Council refer to my request for an internal review, which I didn't make as they had totally ignored the original request and the subsequent reminders. The ONLY reason that they have finally responded is because a complaint was made to the Information Commissioner last month and it was the Information Commissioner who wrote to the council about their continued failure to deal with this FOI request, giving them 10 days to reply.

LCC don't even have a database of LCC asset sales. According to the response I received it would take circa 372 hours to put a database together.
Operation Aloft
Operation Sheridan etc etc
The full truth will come out one day !!!!!!!!!!!
