Darryl Chamberlain

Dear Department for Communities and Local Government,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Department for Communities and Local Government's handling of my FOI request 'Local government publicity - Greenwich (2)'. By law, and under all circumstances, this request should have been answered with by now.

This isn't government policy that's under consideration - this already in law as the Local Audit and Accountability Act 2014, something which the DCLG made a priority during Eric Pickles' time as Secretary of State. There is no safe space - policy has already been decided. The question of costs has been raised in meetings of Greenwich Council (most recently in January, with questions about the council's costs http://committees.greenwich.gov.uk/docum...) so there is a clear public interest in knowing the costs of this dispute with Greenwich. I find this delaying to be baffling and contrary to the principles of open government.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/l...

Yours faithfully,

Darryl Chamberlain
