I am responding to your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000
(FOI Act) for information held by the Council which we received on 24
August 2008. Your request was titled "Local government ombudsmen". I will
respond to each of the points raised in your request, as follows:

There was one finding of maladministration in 2001/2. We have no records
showing whether it was accepted or rejected.

c) How many findings of maladministration your council has accepted but
refused to comply, either in full or in part, with the local government
ombudsmen's recommended remedy.
