Local Government Chronicle (LGC) Awards Ceremony 2021

We're waiting for Catherine Hyfield to read recent responses and update the status.

Dear Hounslow Borough Council,

Please can you provide me a breakdown of costs relating to LBH's participation and attendance at the the Local Government Chronicle Awards competition and ceremony 2021.

Please include the cost of submission of entry (if applicable) and provide copies of the application documents

Please also provide the costs of any non-employees (freelancers, consultants, agencies, etc) who provided input or who reviewed the applications

Please include number of LBH staff (councillors, officers, employees, contractors, temporary staff, etc) who attended the event.

Please provide the total cost of attendance at the event (the amount payable to the organiser) and any expenses related to staff/attendee hospitality that may have occurred at the ceremony.

Please provide the total cost of any overnight accommodation related to attendance at the ceremony and the total cost paid for transport (public transport, private car, minicab, taxi, private hire, etc ) for attendees to and from the ceremony venue.

Please provide copies of any policies, guidelines or instructions related to staff hospitality of LBH staff, employees, etc and please provide details of which LBH budget/allocation the costs and expenses of submission and attendance at the ceremony.

I am writing regarding your request for information dated 14/01/2022. You
have requested the following:

 

Please can you provide me a breakdown of costs relating to LBH's

None.

 

Please include number of LBH staff (councillors, officers, employees,
contractors, temporary staff, etc) who attended the event.

 

29 – These were all staff members or Elected Members.

 

Please provide the total cost of attendance at the event (the amount
payable to the organiser) and any expenses related to staff/attendee
hospitality that may have occurred at the ceremony.

 

The total cost was £4168 for 2 tables at the event.

 

Please provide the total cost of any overnight accommodation related to
attendance at the ceremony and the total cost paid for transport (public
transport, private car, minicab, taxi, private hire, etc ) for attendees
to and from the ceremony venue.

 

The total transport and accommodation expenses associated with the event
was £383.33.

 

Please provide copies of any policies, guidelines or instructions related
to staff hospitality of LBH staff, employees, etc and please provide
details of which LBH budget/allocation the costs and expenses of
submission and attendance at the ceremony.

 

Please find the Employee Code of Conduct Policy (Gifts and Hospitality
Section 10) policy attached.

 

 

The response to your request has been dealt with under the Freedom of
