Local authority pension fund investments
Dear Shetland Islands Council,
Under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act I would like to request the following information as an XLS (Microsoft Excel) spreadsheet.
Please provide an up to date list of the Shetland Islands Pension Fund’s investments in an XLS spreadsheet.
For each investment, please provide the asset class. For equity investments please include the full name of individual equities, the quantity of each share held, and the total and unit value of each equity.
For each investment that is structured in a pooled fund, please provide a breakdown of holdings - individual equities - in the fund.

Thank you for your recent FOI request. Please find our response to your original request attached. All of the investments are invested in pooled vehicles, which is the information given. We cannot provide a breakdown of the individual equities within the funds as we do not have that information.
I trust that this response meets your request. However, if you are dissatisfied with the way in which the Council has dealt with your request for information then you may ask the authority to review its actions and decisions in relation to your request by submitting a formal appeal. The process for lodging appeals is set out in the attached leaflet.
