Dear Ms Miucci,
Your request was received on 1 April 2022 and I am dealing with it under the terms of the Freedom of
Information Act 2000 (‘the Act’).
You asked:
Please provide details of:
1. any documents or information about what the modules for the LLM will be for the 2022/2023
intake 2. if such modules have not yet been confirmed, a tentative or draft list of modules for
the LLM 2022/23 intake 3. If there is no such draft list, a date for when the module list will be
formally released 4. What the exam arrangements will be for the 2022/2023 LLM cohort (open-
book coursework or written in person exams)
We do not yet hold documents or information relating to the LLM modules in 2022-23. The list of LLM
papers for the upcoming academic year is normally published formally in the University
Reporter each
July/August. LLM offer holders are also notified once the list of papers is available. The published list
will make clear assessment options for each paper (for example, written exam or where there is a
dissertation option), but would not state whether exams would be online or in person. This information
is made available to the degree programme cohorts once they have started their degrees and would be
discussed and agreed separately for all the Faculty’s taught degree programmes, rather than
specifically for the LLM.
If you are unhappy with the service you have received in relation to your request and wish to make a
complaint or request an internal review of this decision, you should contact us quoting the reference
number above. The University would normally expect to receive your request for an internal review
within 40 working days of the date of this letter and reserves the right not to review a decision where
there has been undue delay in raising a complaint. If you are not content with the outcome of your
review, you may apply directly to the Information Commissioner for a decision. Generally, the
