Dear Julia Soldrzynski,

Request for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (“the
Act”)

Further to your recent request for information held by King’s College
London, I am writing to confirm that the requested information is held by
the university.

Your request

We received your information request on 8^th March 2024 and have treated
it as a request for information made under section 1(1) of the Act.

You requested the following information:

The highest, lowest, median, and average scores achieved for all optional
undergraduate LLB modules in the last three academic years, as well as the
top 25% percentile score.

Our response

The attached appendix provides details relevant to your request. Please
consider the notices in red when analysing the data.

Please note:

• Modules marks calculations are based on the ratified results only and
does not include records with a mark of zero (considering a
non-submission), withdrawn and deferred records.

We have taken measures to reduce the risk of identification, in this case
the data does not include modules were 5 students or less have enrolled.
We consider that disclosure of this information in the exact form
requested might enable those with access to other information or knowledge
to identify individuals and learn new information about those individuals
e.g. those on the same course or at the same university. Disclosure of
this information would contravene article 5(1) of the UK GDPR which
requires personal data to be ‘processed lawfully, fairly, and in a
transparent manner in relation to the data subject’. The rights of the
individual, and the possible consequences of disclosure, make disclosure
both unfair and unlawful. This information has therefore been withheld
under s. 40(2) of The Act.

This completes the university’s response to your information request.

If you are unhappy with the service you have received in relation to your
information request or feel that it has not been properly handled you have
