LLB Law Admission Statistics for Malaysian Applicants from 2021-2023

The request was successful.

Dear London School of Economics,
My name is Aydan and I am curious to request that the university provide the following information:
1. Statistics for Malaysian Applicants who applied for the Law LLB course from 2021 until 2023
2. Their A-Level/STPM/IB Subject Combination, Predicted and Achieved Grades, and their School/Institution Names
3. Their IGCSE (A*-U)/IB/SPM (A+-G) Results along with their school/institution names
4. Their LNAT Scores (MCQ and Essay section)
5. Whether the students in the data have received an offer or otherwise
6. If they have received an offer, what the conditional A-Level offer was
7. IGCSE/SPM/IB and A-Level/STPM/IB Achieved Grades Summary. (eg (A-level) A*AA - XX applicants - XX offer holders) (eg (IGCSE) 7A*2A - XX applicants - XX holders)

I want the document to be in the form of a PDF and Excel or CSV file. If the university has any inquiries or needs further clarification regarding my request, I am open to listening to them and looking forward to hearing from the university soon.

Yours faithfully,

Aydan Syah

Dear Aydan,

Further to your recent FoI request, the Schools response is provided below:

Please see attached.

•The LNAT scores are only for the MCQ as we do not hold the Essay data.
•There are <5 standard conditional offer for international applicants - A*,A,A.
•We have separated the different grades into tabs, grouping applicants where relevant.
•The predicted/achieved grades are entered by applicants and thus there may be divergence in how these are formatted. Some have also provided predicted grades but not achieved grades, and vice versa.

If you think that the information provided does not meet your request, contact Rachael Maguire at [email address] or write to Louise Nadal, School Secretary, London School of Economics and Political Science, Houghton Street, London, WC2A 2AE. We will then review the response to your request and get back to you within 20 working days. You can also contact the Information Commissioner's Office http://www.ico.gov.uk/, though they expect the internal review to be carried out before receiving a complaint directly.
