Liverpool University Remuneration Committee

Dear University of Liverpool,

According to the Committee Structure 2010-11 available on your website,[1] both an Audit Committee and a Remuneration Committee report to the Council.

Whilst I can find some documentation on the Liverpool University website for the Audit Committee, including its terms of reference and its membership,[2] I am unable to locate any such information about the Remuneration Committee.

The little information that I can obtain includes the fact that Mrs JL Greensmith was appointed to it on 4 November 2009,[3] and that its terms of reference, constitution and membership was ordered to be reviewed on 26 November 2008.[4]

I trust the difficulty in obtaining this information is merely an administrative oversight, given the fact that I am able to find the membership, terms of reference,[5] and the meeting minutes[6] of the Remuneration Committee of Liverpool John Moores University on its website.

Accordingly, please may I be sent (or be provided a link to):

(1) The current terms of reference, constitution and membership of the Remuneration Committee;

(2) Copies of all reports, recommendations and decisions taken by the Remuneration Committee since 1 July 2008, whether or not they have been properly submitted to the Council to whom the committee ostensibly reports.

(3) The dates of all official meetings of the Remuneration Committee since 1 July 2008, the lists of those present, and a copy of the recorded minutes of the meeting.

I trust that the paperwork relating to this request is easily available so that this information may be communicated to me promptly.
