Dear Mr Owen

LFS/AH/RSN17081

Thank you for your recent request made under the Freedom of Information Act.

I have been advised by Merseytravel’s Rail department that to pull all the relevant requested information together would exceed the 18 hours of work permitted under Section 12 of the Act. In addition, as this is a Network Rail project rather than a Merseytravel one, even if the entirety of the information held by Merseytravel were collated it would not provide a complete account of the project.

In accordance with Section 16 of the Act, to provide you with relevant advice and assistance, we would suggest contacting Network Rail directly using the details on their website (https://www.networkrail.co.uk/who-we-are...). Network Rail will hold a more complete picture of the works and should have it in a more readily-accessible format.

I am sorry that we could not be of any further assistance on this occasion.

If you are dissatisfied with the handling of your request, you have the right under the Act to ask for an internal review, which should be addressed to:
Mrs Julie Watling
Legal, Democratic Services & Procurement Manager
Merseytravel
PO Box 1976
Liverpool
L69 3HN
[email address]

If you are not content with the result of your internal review, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner, whose address is
The Information Commissioner’s Office,
Wycliffe House,
Water Lane,
Wilmslow,
Cheshire SK9 5AF

Yours sincerely
