Dear Andy,

Thanks for this. Please ensure response delineates the different areas of the freeport, including Wirral Waters, 3MG, Weston Port etc. I was sent a senior response that stated Liverpool freeport is “inland”, which seems at variance with the government website which only lists East Mids as an inland freeport. That disparity stimulated this constructive, proportionate and non-vexatious FoI request.

Clearly it is in everyone’s interest to avoid a repeat of the Tees ongoing wildlife die offs debacle, linked to intensified dredging as multiple media reports attest, so your detailed assurances will be appreciated by our team.
