Liverpool Foundation Homes

The request was partially successful.

Dear Liverpool City Council,

Mark Kitts - Chief Executive £110-115K

Charles Jarvis - Deputy Chief Executive £90-95K

Louise Davies- Development Director £76-79K

Liam Knowles - Finance Director £76-79K

Sandra McCaughley - Business Development Director - £52,658 to £58,451

Nick Flanagan - Senior Development Manager - £47,491 - £52,633

Claire Parry - Senior Development Manager - £47,491 - £52,633

Kelly Hayes - Business Development Assistant - £19,819 to £23,111

All these employees;
When did they start being employed directly by LFH?

Were they all already council employees and seconded from other roles in the council?
If so were their roles replaced/filled by someone else?

Were all, some or none of these roles publicly advertised/externally advertised and was the recruitment process open and fair?

Were they all redeployed to council roles to help out with the covid crisis?

If so when did this occur and did LFH stop paying their wages directly and did they revert back to being full council employees?

As of April/May 2020? Has LFH effectively ceased to function as all the staff have been redeployed to deal with covid?

It was given a kick start grant of £750,000, followed by a further grant of £170,000. In turn, this was followed by a loan of £1,717,690 with which “to buy property”. When were these payments made?

Did the company have no turnover or employees between 15th August 2018 - October 29th 2019 when it filed accounts for a dormant company?
If there was turnover and it had employees then why were dormant company accounts filed?

Did Frank Hont, Maggie Howard or Andrea Fare-Titterington receive any of any kind remuneration including expenses while directors of LFH between July/August 2018- 12th October 2020 and if so how much and for what?

The company was established March 7th 2018. Its been given £2,637,690 since then. It has not published any accounts in this time. It is solely owned by Liverpool City Council, and by extension the citizens of this cit.
I’m asking for the accounts to be publicly available so we can see what that money has been spent on.

Yours faithfully,

Ed Gommon

What needs to be investigated is the massive sell-off of council assets....when many of these houses/buildings could have been refurbished by Foundations. Then they could have been rented...so bringing in a significant income. I wonder if any of LCCs assets which have been sold for next to nothing....have been bought back at a later date !!!!!!!

Dear Liverpool City Council,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Liverpool City Council's handling of my FOI request 'Liverpool Foundation Homes'.

As you can see I submitted it on the 11th January, the below is from the reply LCC sent

"Thank you for your request for information that was received on 11 January
2021 concerning Dear Liverpool City Council,

We are dealing with your request under the Freedom of Information Act
2000 and we aim to send a response by 8 February 2021."

LCC said I would get a reply by the 8th of February and it is now 29th of March.
I'am a patient man, but if I do not receive my information in 20 days, I will be forced to contact the information commissioner. I note that you seem to have been struggling with transparency and accountability over the last decade.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/l...

Yours faithfully,

Ed Gommon

Does Max Caller actually comprehend how dysfunctional LCC is.?
