Dear Liverpool City Council,

Further to my recent request to receive the publicly held HMO register for Liverpool, as yet I have not received this. I understand you are very busy. By law you should normally have responded "promptly".

Would you be able to send a copy of the HMO register over to me by the end of the week please?

Yours sincerely,

Stephen Kelsey

Liverpool City Council charges £300 to receive a copy of this information which, from any other local authority, is freely available.

For a supposedly "socialist" state, Liverpool Council seems hell bent on making money from everything they do!!
