Dear Birmingham Education Consultants Limited,
Many thanks for your email dated 24th June 2010, regarding a list of
Primary Schools in the UK with their address and Head Teacher details.

I note that you have classed this request as a Freedom of Information
(FOI) request . However, you should note that this information is freely
available within the Public Domain via the Department's EduBase system .

For your convenience I have prepared an extract from EduBase which
contains State Maintained Schools and Special Schools as well as
Independent Schools where the age range covers primary aged pupils. As
your request did not specify if you only wanted state maintained schools I
have included both for information.

The State Maintained schools can be filtered on the following types of
establishment:- Community, Community Special, Foundation, Foundation
Special, Voluntary Aided and Voluntary Controlled.

The Independent Schools are classed as Other Independent Schools and Other
Independent Special Schools. The extract I have prepared covers all of
these plus Non-Maintained Special Schools.

I have included the filter "Phase of Education" so that you can filter out
all the schools which are not stipulated as "Primary", please note though
there are some schools classed as "Middle Deemed Primary", "Middle Deemed
Secondary" and "Secondary" as they all include primary aged pupils. All
Independent Schools do not have a phase of education therefore these all
show as "Not Applicable".

You will note that I have not included the email address as requested .
The reason for this is that some email addresses are actually private
email accounts, therefore as a general rule we do not provide this
information.
