List of Streets Maintainable at the Public Expense

The request was successful.

Robert Whittaker

Dear Norfolk County Council,

I see that you make a PDF version of your "List of Streets Maintainable at the Public Expense" available online at https://www.norfolk.gov.uk/roads-and-tra... . Under the Reuse of Public Sector Information Regulations (RoPSIR) [1], I would like to request permission to re-use the information in this document (and any future versions you may produce, until further notice) under the Open Government Licence v3 [2]. The purposes for which I would like to re-use this information are (a) to help improve the representation of Public Highways in OpenStreetMap and (b) to make the data-set available to others under an open licence in convenient open formats.

Secondly, under RoPSIR r11(1), I would like to request that you provide me with an up-to-date copy of your "List of Streets" in a re-usable machine-readable format. For example, this could be as a CSV file or the original spreadsheet format (I would guess this is Microsoft Excel). Would it also be possible for you to make this file available on your above web page, either instead of or as well as the PDF file? I would find an Excel file much easier to search, order and filter, and I imagine lots of others would too.

Yours faithfully,

Robert Whittaker
