I believe my request needed no clarification.
I would like to see links to all the research that the Secretary of State has used in deciding that the forced Academisation of schools is necessary.
No research has been made available and his decision must be based on research surely?

Thank you for your email dated 14 November 2012 about the Academies programme.
The Department for Education does not currently act under a policy by which all schools are turned into Academies
on a compulsory basis. However, the Secretary of State has the power to intervene to raise standards and improve
performance. These powers are set out in legislation under the Academies Act 2010.
Underperforming schools are replaced by sponsored Academies. There is a wide body of research on the topic of
sponsored Academies. Research conducted by the Department is published on our website:
