Dear Manchester City Council,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of Manchester City Council's handling of my FOI request 'List of public footpaths in Cheetham Hill'.
I am writing to request an internal review concerning the recent response I received to my Freedom of Information request which was concerned with the list of public footpaths in Cheetham Hill.
I received a document that outlined various public footpaths in the area. However, I believe that the response did not fully address my request.
Specifically, I am seeking clarity on the following points:
Classification of Footpaths: Whether the footpaths listed in the provided document "Cheetham adopted footways.pdf" are officially classified as pavements under the criteria set forth in the Highways Act 1980.
Detailed Specifications: Additional information regarding the width, surface type, and maintenance responsibility of these footpaths/pavements.
The Freedom of Information Act 2000 obliges public authorities to provide clear and complete information in response to requests. As I feel that the information provided was incomplete and lacks the necessary details for my inquiry, I am requesting this internal review.
I understand that under the Freedom of Information Act, an internal review should be completed within 20 working days of the request. I am looking forward to your timely response and the provision of the requested clarifications.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you require any further information to facilitate the review.
