Mr Paul Bradstock OBE DL
Paul Bradstock Formerly Chief Executive and now a trustee of The Oxford Trust/

Mr Peter Bridges MBE JP DL
Peter Bridges A magistrate who also served as chairman of the Oxford
Bench. President of TRAX, The Oxfordshire Motor Project Ltd; and
a vice-president of Wolvercote Young Peoples Club. Has been
associated with North Oxford Youth Theatre for many years. 
Chairman, Oxford University Rugby Football Club; and Lay Chairman
of the Oxford Deanery.

Mr Robert Buckeldee DL
Robert Buckeldee Businessman, The Nielsen Company. Chairman of Oxfordshire County
Scout Council. Trustee of edukid, a charity aimed at helping
young people in Cambodia and Uganda into education. Previous

Dr Robin Buxton MBE DL
Robin Buxton Ecologist and wildlife conservationist. Trustee and former Chair

Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust, the

Lord Camoys GCVO PC DL
Tom Camoys Retired banker. Owner of famous Roman Catholic country house at

Mr Malcolm Cochrane DL
Malcolm Cochrane Served in the Scots Guards for National Service. Attended Balliol
College Oxford and spent a semester at Harvard studying Fine
Art.  Secretary of British Railways Board Design Panel. Local
manufacturer.  High Sheriff of Oxfordshire 1996; Vice Lord
Lieutenant of Oxfordshire 1999-2007. Trustee of The Marriott
Trust. Chairman of the Oxfordshire Army Cadet Force League. 
President of the Oxfordshire Playing Fields Association (OPFA).

Mrs Felicity Dick DL
Felicity Dick Holds a number of voluntary posts and charity trusteeships,
concentrating mainly on youth charities. She is a Trustee of the
Oxfordshire Children and Families Trust, an Ambassador of Parents
and Children Together (PACT) having been the Manager of a Pact
Family Centre and was joint founder of OX13 (a community youth
group). She is a Trustee of the Speedwell and WellBeing Trust
which supports healthier living, and a volunteer with the Stroke
Association Dysphasic Support Group. She is also co-founder and
Director of Appleton Community Shop.

Sister Frances Dominica OBE DL
Frances Dominica Sister of the Society of All Saints Sisters of the Poor. Founder
and a trustee of Helen House, the world's first children's
hospice, and of Douglas House, a 'respice' for young adults.

Ms Tish Francis DL
Tish Francis Director of Oxford Playhouse from 1989-2008, now joint director
of The Story Museum, and running her own independent production
company TFA Ltd..  She was chair and executive producer of
Oxfordshire 2000, the organisation responsible for Oxfordshire’s
Own Millennium Festival, OOMF! and the 2002 Oxford Open City
Festival celebrating the Queen’s Golden Jubilee.  She is a
trustee of Oxford Inspires, Oxfordshire's cultural development
agency and of The Rose Theatre, Kingston. In 2008 Tish was
awarded an Honorary Doctorate by Oxford Brookes University for
her services to theatre and the arts.  

Imam Monawar Hussain DL
Monawar Hussain Local businessman.  He is the Imam at Eton College.  He is also
the founder of The Oxford Foundation that seeks to support
vulnerable, disaffected and low achieving young people through
innovative educational programmes. He devised, pioneered and
successfully piloted a unique educational programme confronting
violent extremist ideology, aspects of which have been published
and the programme has also been utilised to train RE teachers in
the UK. He also sits on a number of advisory boards including the
Department for Communities & Local Government Review of Muslim
Faith Leader Training; the National Association of Teachers of
Religious Education and the Religious Education Council
Resilience Advisory Board.  He is committed to interfaith
dialogue between the world's faiths, serving on the advisory and
consultative board of The Three Faiths’ Forum and in late 2009
Chairing a meeting of Ambassadors' at St James's Palace to seek
ways of expanding this work internationally. 

Professor Philip Hutchinson DL FREng
Philip Hutchinson Physicist and engineer.  Formerly Principal of the Defence
College of Management and Technology and Deputy Vice-Chancellor
at Cranfield University.  Fellow of the Royal Academy of
Engineering. Chairman of Letcombe Technology Ltd

Brigadier Ian Inshaw DL
Ian Inshaw A former Army Officer who served his last five years of service
as the Garrison Commander of Bicester Garison.  He then became
the Chairman of the Oxfordshire Ambulance Trust and the North
East Oxfordshire Primary Care Trust as well as Chairman of the
NSPCC Full Stop Appeal for Oxfordshire. Since his semi retirement
he has become involved with Age UK and is Chairman of P3ECO
(Bicester) a company designed to facilitate the ECO Development
in NE Bicester. He had the honour of being High Sheriff of
Oxfordshire in 2008/9. He is married to Isobel and has two
married daughters and two grand-daughters. His hobbies are DIY,
Family History, Sport and the Countryside.

Mrs Anne Kelaart DL
Anne Kelaart Farmer and Landowner. She is Chairman of the Oxfordshire Rural
Forum and of the Friends of Dorchester Abbey; President of
Oxfordshire CLA; a Trustee of the Oxfordshire Victoria County
History, the Oxfordshire Nature Conservation Forum and the
Northmoor Trust; a Governor of Ripon College Cuddesdon and a
Rural Officer in the Oxford Diocese.  Nationally she was Chairman
of the Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group until November 2008.
High Sheriff of Oxfordshire 2004.

Ian Laing Local company director. High Sheriff of Oxfordshire 2005.  He is
a Governor, Royal Shakespeare Company and a Nuffield Medical
Trustee.

Mr Michael Macfadyen DL
Michael Macfadyen He is a retired solicitor. He is trustee of several grant giving
charitable trusts; Chairman of Goring Heath Almshouses Trust;
Chairman of the Marlborough Mound Turst; a trustee of the
Oxfordshire VCH Trust and a trustee of the Top Foundation.

Mrs Miranda Markham DL
Miranda Markham Group Community Relations Manager for Value Retail (Bicester
Village).  She is a governor at Bicester Community College and

Oxfordshire Scouts for ten years.  He is President of the Royal
British Legion Oxfordshire, and Chairman of the County Forum of
The Duke of Edinburgh's Award for Oxfordshire.  High Sheriff of
Oxfordshire 1994.

Brigadier Nigel Mogg DL
Nigel Mogg Army Officer 1958-92 - The Royal Green Jackets, formerly
Oxfordshire & Buckinghamshire LI.   Chairman Oxfordshire Reserve
Forces & Cadets 1994-2005. Hon Col The Rifles Oxfordshire
1995-.  High Sheriff of Oxfordshire 2002.   Trustee: Darell-Brown
Trust (Oxon & Bucks), Oxfordshire VCH Trust, RGJ Museum Trust and
the Lowndes-Stone Trust.  Patron of the Living of Ewelme
Benefice. President Watlington RBL.

Lady North OBE DL
Stephanie North Magistrate for thirty years and was chair during that time of the
Oxford City Bench, the Oxfordshire Youth Court and the
Oxfordshire Magistrates' Association.  Served as a member of the
Lord Lieutenant's Advisory Committee on Justices of the Peace and
the Oxfordshire Advisory Committee on General Commissioners of
Income Tax.  She was formerly Chair of the Probation Boards'
Association and is Vice Chairman of the Oxfordshire Community
Foundation, Vice Chairman of the Girls' Day School Trust and is a
member of the advisory committee of the Oxford Philomusica
Orchestra.

Mr Mike O'Regan OBE DL
Mike O'Regan Local businessman. In 1973 he was a joint founder of RM plc, the
leading supplier of ICT to UK schools and colleges. He is
involved with several small private technology companies and is a
co-founder and non-executive director of the Oxford Technology
VCTs. He is co-founder and trustee of PEEP, the Peers Early
Education Partnership, and chairs Hamilton Trust, another
educational charity.

Dr Dick Squires MBE DL
Dick Squires Retired GP. Serial social entrepreneur in the Wantage area ie
established Lains Barn 1973; creation of Vale & Downland Museum
Centre 1980; founder of Court Hill youth hostel on the Ridgeway
from five relocated barns 1982; founder member of trust which
established Betjeman memorial park in Wantage.

Mrs Marion Stevenson DL
Marion Stevenson Was originally a probation officer.  She is a family mediator and
is Director of Oxfordshire Family Mediation and a trainer for
National Family Mediation. She was previously a governor of the
UK College of Family Mediators.  Marion was founder and Chair of
Oxford Community Mediation.  With her husband, Tim, she jointly
chairs Charity Centre Oxford, a registered charity that worked to
create the shared building for charities and social enterprises
in the Cowley Road, the Old Music Hall.

Mr Tony Stratton DL
Tony Stratton Local businessman. Chairman of CPM Group, based in Thame.
Chairman or NED of 3 other businesses within the
marketing communications industry. Liveryman in the Worshipful
Company of Marketors, Member of the Marketing Group of Great
Britain and Fellow of the RSA. Chair of Oxford Inspires, Past
President of The Oxfordshire County and Thame Show and Patron of
the Thame Youth Memorial.

Dr Kate Tiller DL
Kate Tiller An historian who was Reader in English Local History at the
University of Oxford until 2004, (now Reader Emerita), and is a
Fellow of Kellogg College.  She is Chairman of the Oxfordshire
Victoria County History Trust and of the Oxfordshire Blue Plaques
Board.  She is author and editor of numerous books and articles
on the history of Oxfordshire. Projects in 2009-11 include an
historical atlas of Oxfordshire and an online research guide to
Oxfordshire history. She is a member of the Committee of Oxford
University Rugby Football Club.

Mr Rod Walker DL
Rod Walker Headteacher of Larkmead School, Abingdon 1985-1996; headteacher
of The Henry Box School, Witney 1996-2007; helped to devise and
implement Oxfordshire's Local Management of Schools scheme.
Trustee of Oxfordshire Independent/State Schools Partnership; and
Auditory Verbal UK (supporting profoundly deaf children and their
families). Lay member of various NHS assessment panels and
disciplinary tribunals for barristers.
