List of days that have had services cancelled due o lack of drivers

Please provide a list of days for the past six months where services have been cancelled due to lack of driver availability.

For each of the days

provide the number of drivers that should have been available and the actual number that were available.
Provide the service detailed that were cancelled.

May I also have an extended period - i.e from April 2010 to current period , and the reasoning (if available) why the drivers were not avalaible, and how many daily/routes services were affrected.

In addition, similar data for no. of trains taken out of service for each day, and reasoning

Dear S Jeffery,

I have taken advice from the team who would be able to provide this information. It is estimated that to comply with the request as written would exceed the cost limit described as the 'appropriate limit' outlined in Section 12 of the Freedom of Information Act. The 'appropriate limit' is currently set at £450 which equates to 18 hours at £25 per hour.

This is essentially due to how the information is recorded at Nexus and how it would need to be manually retrieved for each day from April 2010 to the current period. This would equate to over 3,000 days although it is acknowledged that some days would vary in the length of time required to retrieve the information.

Prior to issuing a formal refusal notice I would like to give you the opportunity to refine your request in order to assist you with providing some information to satisfy your request.

Dear Freedom Info,

as the cost of the request is "excessive" (i.e exceeds the cost limit described as the 'appropriate limit' outlined in Section 12 of the Freedom of Information Act. ) - I suggest that the request in closed, however suggest that Nexus publish these statistics on their website on a four weekly basis (in addition to their performance posters)
