Thank you for your email.  This is to acknowledge receipt of your

Dear Josef,

I am writing in respect of your recent enquiry for information held by the
Council under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act. You asked
the following:

1.       Please supply a list (spreadsheet or similar is fine) of all
council housing under your remit.

2.       Please also supply a list of ex-council housing (ie properties
bought out under right-to-buy etc).

I can confirm the following:

1.       The Council concluded a Large Scale Voluntary Transfer of its
housing stock in March 2012.  It retained 3 properties, one of which has
since been demolished.  The remaining Council stock for South Lakeland is:

o   62 Castle Street, Kendal

o   Stockghyll Cottage, Ambleside

If relevant, the Council also owns a homeless hostel at Town View Fields,
Kendal

2.       There have been no Right to Buy sales by the Council since the
transfer in March 2012
