List of all products withdrawn under the EMC Directive/Regs
Dear Department for Business, Innovation and Skills,
Please supply a comprehensive list of all products which have been withdrawn from market (across Europe and/or the UK) for failing to meet the criterion of the Electromagnetic Compatibility Regulations 2006 or the essential requirements of EMC Directive 2004/108/EC and a synopsis of each product's details; RAPEX can be used as a template for the type of information sought.
Since RAPEX is a safety based system it holds very little of the data sought in this request.
Please confine the data to dates from January 1 2008 to date and to a cost not exceeding £450; starting with the most recent and listing backwards in time until one of the above conditions are met.
Yours faithfully,
Nigel Coleman
