Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

Please would you send me a list of every employer signed up to the "Positive About Disabled People" scheme along with a breakdown in percentage terms of the involvement of each employment sector? If you are not under an obligation to provide me with this information please would you let me know how many employers are signed up to the "Positive About Disabled People" scheme and which sectors they represent? Could you please also explain why this information is not freely available or if it is available somewhere and I have missed it, where to find it?

Allow me to suggest that it would make life a great deal easier for disabled people if you were to promote this scheme and consolidate this information so disabled jobseekers could see at a glance which employers were disabled-friendly. It would also lead to less hatred and harassment of disabled people if the facts were out there.

I am writing to request an internal review of Department for Work and Pensions's handling of my FOI request 'List of all employers who are "Positive About Disabled People"'.

I was decidedly not sent a comprehensive list of every employer signed up to this scheme. I know of at least one other, being Shape - Creative Steps, but know there are many more. Perhaps you do not have a definitive list?
