Lincolnshire Care Portal
Dr Neil Bhatia made this Freedom of Information request to NHS Lincolnshire East Clinical Commissioning Group
This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.
Dear NHS Lincolnshire East Clinical Commissioning Group,
I would like to make a request under the FOI Act.
For the purposes of the Act, please take the date of your receipt of this request as: 15th October 2019 .
I read with interest this article on Digital Health:
• Could you kindly send me the DPIA for the care portal?
• Unless already obvious within the DPIA, could you kindly tell me whether the care portal upholds the “permission to view” principle – that is, the explicit permission (I won’t refer to it as consent as that is not the legal basis) of the patient is sought and recorded before the care portal is accessed, unless it is a “break glass” situation (e.g. patient is unconscious)?
I would be grateful if you would be kind enough to send me the requested information promptly and in any event not later than the twentieth working day following the date of receipt of my request.
Dr Neil Bhatia
