Life in the UK test

Sue Shutter made this Freedom of Information request to Home Office

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

The request was partially successful.

Dear Home Office

Please can you provide information about the numbers of people taking the Knowledge of Language and Life in the UK test who are re-sitting the test, in the 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 financial years?

If possible, please divide this into how many of the tests taken were (a) for the second time (b) for the third time and (c) for the fourth or subsequent time.

If possible, please divide the numbers by pass/fail rates for each.

If that is not possible, or affordable, please give me any information that is readily available about the numbers of people re-sitting the LIUK test in those years.

Thank you.

Yours sincerely,

Sue Shutter
