I would like to know whether the organiser for Meon Fun fest which takes
place on the Meon vale sports field CV37 8YE has the appropriate licensing
and permissions in place to host such event in a public space.

Further to your request, please see the following response:

The licensing department are familiar with the event called 'Meon Fun
Fest' which takes place in July at the Sport Pavilion and surrounding area
in Meon Vale. Since 2022 the event has operated under Temporary Event
Notices for the sales of alcohol and entertainment as well as a special
events market consent for the stall.

To date, no applications have been received for this years event but there
is sufficient time for these applications to be received.

If you are dissatisfied with the handling of your request, you have the
right to ask for an internal review. An internal review request should be
submitted in writing within 40 working days of receiving the original
