Licensing Act 2003 prosecutions

Currently waiting for a response from Westminster City Council, they should respond promptly and normally no later than (details).

Dear Westminster City Council,

I am aware that Westminster brings prosecutions under the Licensing Act 2003 and upon perusing your Licensing Committee agendas I found reference to various individual prosecutions (and clear reasons as to why prosecution is not always the most effective method of dealing with licensing issues). What I was unable to find was any collation of the numbers of prosecutions initiated and the outcomes.

I should be grateful for a speadsheet showing the numbers of Licensing Act 2003 prosecutions brought by Westminster over the last five years, which sections of the Act the prosecutions were under and the outcomes of said prosecutions.

My request is intended to gain information, not to take up officers' time, and if there is an extant document that comes close to what I have requested then I am happy to consider it as fulfillment of my Information Request.

I am making this request on my own behalf.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours faithfully,

Bill Ellson
