Further to your recent request for information, the University's response
follows.

a. The library opening hours during terms time

The opening hours of each of the University's four Learning Resource
Centre's vary according to the time of year. The attached documents
provide both term time and vacation opening hours for the 2009/10 academic
year. 2010/11 opening hours will be advertised on the University website
[1]here in due course.

b. How many students are employed by the University?

During the 2009/10 academic year 30 students were employed to work in the
Learning Resource Centres.

c. The average hours worked by students employed in the library

On average, students employed to work in the Learning Resource Centres
work for eight hours per week.

d. The library budget

The library stock fund for 2009/10 was £1,939,810. This figure includes
all money available to spend on library materials such as books, journals,
and electronic resources but does not include staff or other operating
costs. The 2010/11 library stock fund is yet to be finalised.

e. The number of registered students in the University

As of the 1^st December 2009, there were 22,782 students registered with
Kingston University.
